Signs of Worm Infestation

If your child is showing specific changes in his pattern of appetite (increase or decrease), feels lethargic, drowsy and listless most of the time and off and on complains of gastric upsets, then he might be suffering from worm infestation. Other than this, he may also be having prolonged irritant cough, occasional pain in his abdomen, loss of weight, shortness of breath, irritability, malnutrition and even anemia.

Recommendation for Worm Infestation
A number of medicines are available in the markets that are targeted on the worm eradication. A stool test is also suggested to confirm the malady. The medicine is generally advised for at least twice in a fortnight as this takes care of the complete elimination of the adult worms as well as their larvae. Also, in most cases of worm infestations, the entire family needs to be de-wormed simultaneously as this decreases the risk of cross infection and re-infection.
