Why Natural Diet Is In?

 

 

 

Life expectancy in India and around the world has improved significantly, with people of all age-groups enthusiastically becoming health-conscious. Fitness, healthiness, lifestyle and the social image is all predominant in life of an average individual today. Needless to say, diet plays an important role in the new scheme of life. And apparently, people are shying away from synthetic food and preserved food, instead opting for home-cooked meals and easy-to-go-on-stomach foods and diet choices.

 

Satvic Diet

Inevitably, the satvik diet is in. Satvic diet mainly consists of fresh foods and diet that includes fresh vegetables, fruits, salads, whole grains, seeds, nuts, milk, herbal teas and water. Nowadays, the diet which is much opted is also about being trendy, light, fresh, natural, and everything to do with, proteins, right nutrients and balancing your system. Healthy diets comprising of grains, fruits, skimmed milk and curd, yogurt, herbs for easy digestion, low-fried food, raw vegetables, grilled food items etc. have taken precedence. There is lot of focus on taking to holistic diet plans which work to achieve complete overhauling and balancing of mind, body and soul. This diet includes non-refined, whole foods that are organic, non-processed and also seasonal. But, the best part about precise diet is to eat what is healthy and as much in natural form as possible.  This is because this diet is full of life force energy or the Prana which is a vital component for your overall wellbeing. Taking to diet plan which emphases on healthy-eating can keep you well protected from so many lifestyle diseases like obesity, heart disease and diabetes. Some healthy habits like drinking water that is overnight stored in copper vessel, eating only when hungry and maintaining optimum gap between two meal-times is endorsed. It is advised to be taking nutritious and well balanced diet, and also minimizing intake of junk food, fried foods, and caffeine rich beverages is needed.

 

Organic Food

Organic food is another term commonly used, which actually means food without chemicals or pesticides. More importantly, the entire effort is about consuming fresh food. It is not about eating raw vegetables or simply the boiled food. Yet, it is about the science of freshly cooked meal, a wholesome meal.

 

Choose Your Food

Go low on extra sugar, salt and refined oils; and rather Ayurveda suggests that you include desi ghee or the clarified butter in your diet. Ayurvedic diet has also become chic and adequate food choice. It is all about good food, adequate digestion and holistic well-being. The common perception of bitter, green leafy herbs and vegetables, turmeric, lettuce etc, which is bonded with Ayurvedic diet has gained popularity everywhere. Ayurvedic food is also about pungency involving use of any hot spice, salt, sour, sweet, and astringent foods like lentils, beans, etc. When you are conscious about the everyday diet, you must also improve your eating habits and similarly understand the significance of what, when and how to eat, and while concentrating on Satvik (Natural) diet, decrease the intake of Rajsik diet (stimulating fried foods) and Tamsik diet (processed fast foods) as well for virtuous, healthy living.
