Wake-Up Call
As parents we have a task of waking up kids every single day. It makes all sense that so as to make them rise from their siesta, it is rather mandatory for us to be awake first. Similar proves right for the life we are treading, because if we are not really awake and aware, then so many messages that life brings forth simply go unread.
Wake-up To His Ecstasy
How many times have you allowed yourself to stand for a while and silently appreciate the sight of His ecstasy? You can feel His grace in the blooming rose in your garden, or in the beautiful scenic splendor that leaves you spellbound for the moment. It could be the dew drops shining in the juvenile sun rays, or the glorious exquisiteness of a moonlit night. In the everyday race of life, in case we are not pausing to the magnificence being bestowed upon us, we are somehow being unjust to our own selves. Wake-up To His Love
If you been in love ever, then you would have felt the warm tingling sensation within your heart. Our heart beats in particular fashion on the feel of love. But this perception would not have been there, if we would not have experienced His love lying dormant within our basic existence. Have you ever sighted innocent love flowing from the eyes of an infant, or even from the eyes of a dog? Love is the same, it knows no differences. The very form as He dwells in our hearts is pure and true love. Value it more often, it is your biggest virtue in this human birth.
Wake-up To His Presence
As and when we kneel down to his presence during the act of performing prayers, we can feel his presence for sure. But what about all other times when we are scared, or discouraged, or insecure or even filled with negative emotions. It happens with each one of us in some part of life and we cannot escape it or differ. At such times, we tend to feel the distance and seek his manifestation. But why do we let ourselves believe that he is away, or that our prayers could not be reaching him. Although we might be seeking without, yet He is surely within. With every single breath he resides within our being. There is the ultimate reality of death which answers his presence. When a person dies, in no time his near and dear ones would bury him or burn the body to ashes. What has escaped from the body, which has made it to lose its very existence? It is only His presence.
Wake-up To His Greatness
When my son suffered from the distressing ailment of chicken pox, he perceptibly could not take it. I remember how innocently once while peeping out of the window and watching his friends play, he had said this to me, ‘Mom why do I have to suffer while all my other friends are healthy and playing’. I tried to console him then by telling him to thank God that finally now that the illness has taken its form, it will surely pass away and it being only matter of days’. He was taken aback and retaliated, ‘ But why has God wanted to do this to me?’ I told him then that God wanted to provide you with a protection shield. The good news is that he would not be having this disease again and would now develop lifelong immunity against the same. He has his own ways of bestowing his greatness upon us, only we need to read his message and be grateful. Everything ‘bad’ that seems to happen in our lives could have been much ‘worse’, if it was not for His greatness.
Wake-up To His Message
He conveys to us with infinite examples present in Nature around us. Have you read the message in the wee hours of the morning? Just at the time before breaking of the dawn, it suddenly becomes very dark. I have often noticed that even during the night, Nature does not convey so much of darkness as before the sunlight is just about to appear. This is His message to us for sure. In the life that we lead, there are moments of turmoil and there are phases of anguish when we seem to lose all hope. At such times, His message proves not less than a savior. Today if life had taken darker side, have faith the light is only at the verge of appearing. When we are able to read through his messages, our faith is no more dandling, rather the being within us is able to foresee the light at the end of the obscure tunnel.When winter is here, can spring be far behind?
Wake-up to His Abundance
This is one note to which many of us go unaware. All through our lives, we remain discontent and rather deprived. It is such a common happening that one and all seem to be complaining to the lack of virtues that life brings forth. If he has offered us a life, then there is always the benevolent care that He supports us with all possible means. It is human nature to accumulate, yet at the same time in case we are not able to use the same (even for our own joys) then aren’t we just being thankless to his abundance? It is something like whatever flowers he has allowed to bloom in your garden of life, instead of gratefully enjoying the fragrance, you are holding onto your breath.. only saving it for tomorrow when you might need to breath. But who knows how long is the stretch of the garden below your feet ! Alexender the great had been throughout his life amassing wealth and ruling the world is the biggest example that history conveys to us. But there is one message he left for all of us before his last. As his breathed his last, the biggest ruler ordered his people not to tie his hands and leave them open outside his coffin.He wanted the world to see it for itself, that when the ruler who has all his life only accumulated wealth, not at his end even he has to leave for his ultimate abode empty handed. There is not a speck we can take along with us, then why not enjoy the journey all along living the fragrance of roses we have not in our garden, with the understanding.. they will all shrivel someday.
Wake-up to His Pain
We are today so much involved with our own pain and grievances. Yet, He being our father, is pained all the more. The sole reason of His pain is his humanity. We could have forgotten this, but how could He that only with much effort put in by so many births, we could attain Human form. This is the biggest blessing He has conferred upon us, which also carries with itself our one and only chance of attaining salvation. He is pained when he sees us losing our goal in the meddlesome affair and temporary luxuries of the world. Remember the times when we are able to we offer the choicest gift to our kids, we never ask for a favor in return. Yet, at the same time it remains in our heart that the child needs to endure and rather excel in his virtues and merits, which made him justify for the gift. And knowingly or unknowingly, we could be disappointed if the child is not able to prove his worth. Wake up to His pain, He is our saviour and most rightly deserves our redeeming of the significance of Human birth he has gifted us with.
