Fibromyalgia, which is hitting almost 4% of the total population and is very similar to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, is one of the leading chronic conditions whereby pain is experienced in muscles, joints and ligaments along with the feeling of fatigue and tenderness in the musculoskeletal frame of the body. Low levels of magnesium (Body assimilation of magnesium along with reduced levels of magnesium in food) accompanied by low levels of happy hormones like Serotonin are usually believed to be the reason for this disorder. The condition of fibromyalgia which may be termed as muscle and connective tissue pain, is chronic but pain comes and goes and moves about the body.
