Dosha Healing Tips for Wellbeing : How Seasons Influence the Balance
Dosha Healing focuses on overall health and longevity of an individual. All the six seasons have a certain effect on the three basic doshas and thus they indirectly and invariably affect our health.
Dosha Healing and Seasons effect on Vata Dosha: 
  • Vata dosha tends to become accumulated in summers. This may be apparent by noticing the dryness of this humor as it effects the vegetation. Plants and vegetables lose their moisture and tend to become drier during summers.
  • Vata gets aggravated in the rainy season. This is the time when the aggravation in the humor causes easy production of TYPE – V of diseases.
  • Autumn is the season in which this dosha gets alleviated.
 
 
Dosha Healing and Seasons Effect on Pitta Dosha
  • Pitta tends to get accumulated within the body systems in the rainy season. There is acidic reaction of food as the plants and water is apt to become turbid during this period of the year.
  • The aggravation time of this humor is considered to be in the autumn season. And this results in causing more ailments of TYPE  P of diseases i.e. all those maladies in which there is dominance of the fire humor of the body.
  • Early winter is the time or season when this humors shows signs of mitigation.
Dosha Healing and Seasons Effect on Kapha Dosha
  • The Kapha Doshas is believed to get accumulated in the early winters, as this is the time when water becomes cold, clear and heavy by nature. (This is in harmony with the properties of the phlegm humor).
  • The season when this particular body humor tends to get aggravated is the spring. Therefore this is the time when the ailments showing dominance of the phlegm humor are on the rise.
  • In summers the Phlegm humor becomes naturally alleviated.
